Friday will consist of site visits followed by a networking event. The AGM & PLD will be held all day Saturday followed by a half day on Sunday. Saturday will open with a keynote speaker and the AGM, followed by our new ‘For the Teachers by the Teachers’ sessions. The afternoon will be off-site at workshops and the day will end with a networking dinner. Sunday there will be sessions discussing Home Economics, Technology, Sustainability and Education Practices followed by a closing keynote. You can see the programme timings here

Cultural Food resource
A resource of teaching and learning activities for teachers of students in Years 9-11
In the teaching Home Economics, a programme based on Cultural Food enables students to engage in learning that develops an understanding of the determinants of health (influences on food choices) as well as attitudes, values and beliefs around food. There are a variety of ways in which students can progress to NCEA Level 1 – AS 90958. The purpose of this resource is to provide teachers with a comprehensive collection of teaching strategies and learning activities, as well as links to other useful resources.
