In 2009 HETTANZ implemented a new membership structure. This allows a full membership to be held by the school rather than by the individual members. The School Subscription option allows a school to sign up all of their Home Economics and Technology Teachers under the School Membership.
The School Subscription includes:
- One membership pack/resource provided to the school (of which all teachers are able to have access to)
- All named home economics and technology teachers included on the school subscription will be given access to the private members area of our website and be able to vote at General and Special Meetings
The annual subscription for this membership is a variable fee based on the school roll numbers as follows:

- < 500 $110
- 500 – 1000 $210
- > 1000 $310
If you have not received your School Subscription Pack by the 20th of February, please email treasurer@hettanz.org.nz to request a copy.
A teacher can, of course, still be an individual member in their own right, but will only receive one vote regardless of whether their school is also a member. All individual members will be provided with one membership pack/resource, access to the private members area of our website, and will be eligible to vote at General and Special Meetings.
The annual subscription for individual membership for 2010 is $110 (GST incl). Please download a copy of the Individual Membership Form (Word | PDF), complete, and post along with your payment to:

Hettanz also includes an Associate (Non-Teaching) membership and a Corporate membership to the Association. All Associate and Corporate members will be provided with access to the private members area of our website but will not receive a membership pack/resource and are not eligible to vote at General and Special Meetings.
The 2010 annual subscription for an Associate membership is $50.00 (GST incl), and the Corporate Membership Form is cost is $250.00 (GST incl). Please email treasurer@hettanz.org.nz to request the appropriate form.
